Commercial bulky waste
Businesses and charities in Dumfries and Galloway can pay us to collect large items or bulky waste from commercial properties.
Commercial bulky waste we collect
We will collect:
- furniture
- domestic-sized appliances
- garden waste, bagged in household-size bags

What we will not collect
There are certain types of waste that we cannot collect:
- hazardous waste, for example car batteries, oil, paint, tyres and fluorescent light bulb tubes
- concrete, slabs and other building or construction waste
- farm waste
These items must be collected by specialist, registered contractors. You can find them on the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) register of waste carriers and brokers.
