Parkrun
There are weekly parkruns at Dock Park in Dumfries, Agnew Park in Stranraer, Carlingwark Loch in Castle Douglas and The Crichton in Dumfries.
Parkrun is a free, community event where you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.
Adult parkruns
There are weekly 5K adult parkruns, every Saturday at 9.30am. They take place in:
- Agnew Park in Stranraer – parkrun website

Junior parkruns
There is a 2K junior parkrun at Dock Park in Dumfries.
It is for 4 to 14 year olds and their families and takes place every Sunday morning at 9.30am.
