Register a new address, change an address, apply for a new street name, apply for a new property name.
A property can be allocated a name if it is unique to the area.
If the property has already been allocated a number then it must remain part of the official address. You must tell us if there are changes to a property name that is part of the official address.
New and altered addresses are also passed to the Council Assessors department and the Royal Mail.
The fee for a single new address application for property naming is £110. This is for administration costs including updating the Royal Mail and Scottish Assessors. You will be asked to pay the fee after you complete your form.
