Transport Scotland:

Please be advised that two nights of full overnight closures will be required on the A701, 2 miles north of Parkgate, on Thursday 5 December and Friday 6 December between the hours of 8pm and 6am each night.

Houston’s Information:

The above closure will impact the late Edinburgh bus departing Beattock at 11.01pm. This bus will divert via Lockerbie using the A701, B7076 to Lockerbie, A709 to Dumfires, A75 and pick up normal route from Dalscone Roundabout. 

Stops between Beattock and Dalscone Roundabout in Dumfries will not be served during this time.
