Get free bus travel for young people aged 5 to 22
If you are aged 5 to 22 and live in Scotland, the National Entitlement Card (NEC) bus pass gives you free travel on most buses across Scotland.
If you already have an NEC card or a Young Scot NEC card, you may have to apply for a new one to get free bus travel added as an option.

Free travel for under 5s
Bus travel is free for under 5s and they do not need an NEC card. If your child will be 5 soon, you can apply for a card two weeks before their fifth birthday.
