Under-18 discount
How to qualify
There are 2 levels of discount, depending on who lives in the property:
- 100% discount if everyone in the property is under 18
- 25% discount if there is a mixture of under 18s and people aged 18 or over
How to apply
Email a copy of each occupant's birth certificate to counciltax@dumgal.gov.uk.
You can also visit a customer service centre where a member of staff will scan the birth certificates and email them for you.
After you apply
It can take up to 6 weeks to process an application, as long as you've given us all the information we need. Your account will be updated as soon as a decision is made.
