Our services
Our team is made up of a number of different roles, including:
- a senior social worker
- social work assistants
- vision rehabilitation specialists
We can visit you at home to assess what support you may need. This includes:
- advice and support on how to make the best use of residual hearing
- social and emotional support
- installing doorbells or phone devices which flash when activated to alert you that there is someone at the door or on the phone
- installing deaf fire alarms
- installing TV amplifiers
- providing equipment to people with a visual impairment following assessment
- one-to-one training for children and young people with a vision impairment
If you have a social landlord or a private tenancy, your landlord is responsible for ensuring compatible fire alarms.
