Our services

Our team is made up of a number of different roles, including:

  • a senior social worker
  • social work assistants
  • vision rehabilitation specialists

We can visit you at home to assess what support you may need. This includes:

  • advice and support on how to make the best use of residual hearing
  • social and emotional support
  • installing doorbells or phone devices which flash when activated to alert you that there is someone at the door or on the phone
  • installing deaf fire alarms
  • installing TV amplifiers
  • providing equipment to people with a visual impairment following assessment
  • one-to-one training for children and young people with a vision impairment

If you have a social landlord or a private tenancy, your landlord is responsible for ensuring compatible fire alarms.
