How to report a property that you believe is not properly licensed or registered, including unregistered private landlords and unlicensed short-term lets and houses in multiple occupation (HMOs).
You can report a rented property if you believe it does not have the correct licence or a landlord who is unregistered. You can make your report anonymously.

All private landlords must be registered as a private landlord.

It is a legal requirement for all short-term let properties and houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) to be licensed.
