Our centre in Stranraer provides support, activities and opportunities for personal development for adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.

Stranraer Activity and Resource Centre provides support, activities and personal development opportunities to help people remain in their community and be as independent as possible. 

We cater for people aged 18 and over, who have learning and/or physical disability, autistic spectrum disorders or other related issues.

Referrals

To attend this centre, please speak to your social worker. If you do not have a social worker, you can request to have a social care assessment.

Services and personal development plans

Our skilled and experienced staff team will work with you, your family to put together your personal support plan to help you achieve your goals and outcomes. We will support you to develop life skills, build relationships with other people which will enable you to take part in your local community.

We support family or carers, by providing information and signpost to a range of services which can offer guidance and practical support.
